Description

A fiberglass surface veil is a thin, non-woven layer of fiberglass that is applied to the surface of a composite material to improve its cosmetic appearance, create a smooth, resin-rich finish, and provide a barrier against corrosion, moisture, and environmental degradation. It helps to hide the underlying reinforcement, enhances adhesion for topcoats like gelcoat, and can increase the stiffness and strength of the final composite part, making it suitable for a wide range of applications from construction and marine to automotive and industrial products.
